The Z sled is a quad through and through, it has a pulled in tail width in an otherwise full plan shape. The fin spread moved in from the rail, allows really fast yet smooth rail to rail surfing, and the ability to go vertical… quick! There is a bevel in the nose to avoid in the lip hang ups, the bottom contours go from single concave in the mid section, blending into double concave and then finally flattening off in the tail, giving the board lift and quick responsive turns. The rails are full and relatively soft so that volume is kept well distributed through out the board, and with full plan shape up front, this makes wave catching easier than ever. There is a wing right at the back of the board behind the rear set of fins pulling the tail in further and giving extra bite in tight pocket turns.
